DESCRIPTION
This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 was acquired by the seller in 2022 out of New Jersey, and components intended for a subsequent refurbishment will accompany the car, including a 9″ rear end, Wilwood disc brakes, and independent front suspension. Power is provided by a 351ci Windsor V8 that is backed by a four-speed manual transmission, and the car is finished in red over black vinyl upholstery. Equipment includes 15″ Magnum 500-style wheels, front and rear spoilers, a hood scoop, hood pins, and aftermarket headers in addition to a push-button AM/FM radio, a Hurst shifter, and a Sunpro tachometer.
Magnum 500-style 15″ wheels are mounted with 205/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The car is equipped with power steering.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in black vinyl with textured inserts and red accents. Interior appointments include woodgrain trim, a Hurst shifter, and a push-button AM/FM radio.
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary readouts. A Sunpro tachometer is mounted to the instrument surround, while AutoMeter readouts for voltage and oil pressure are located in the center console. The five-digit odometer shows 56k miles, approximately 50 of which were added under current ownership.
The 351ci Windsor V8 was factory rated at 250 horsepower and is equipped with a K&N air cleaner assembly and aftermarket headers.
The car has been refinished in red and is equipped with front and rear spoilers, Mach 1 graphics, and a black hood with a scoop and pins. Rust is noted under the doors.
Uninstalled components sourced from Total Cost Involved out of Ontario, California, will accompany the car, including a 9″ rear end, a stage 3 suspension kit, and Wilwood brakes. An itemized invoice of included parts is presented in the gallery.
