DESCRIPTION

This 1965 Pontiac GTO is a sports coupe is finished in Nightwatch Blue over blue vinyl upholstery.

Power comes from a 389ci V8 mated to a three-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

Additional equipment includes 14″ wheels, quick steering, the Handling and Ride package, air conditioning, bucket seats, a push-button radio, and rally gauges.

Work performed in preparation for the sale have included an oil change, a coolant flush, and replacement of the spark plugs, ignition wires, rear shocks, and tires.

The car is finished in Nightwatch Blue and features chrome bumpers, stacked headlamps, a hood scoop, a driver-side mirror, a power antenna, and dual exhaust outlets.

Steel 14″ wheels wear faux knock-off covers and are mounted with 225/70 BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial redwall tires that were reportedly installed in preparation for the sale. Additional recent work is said to have included replacing the rear shocks. Equipment includes 20:1 quick steering, the Handling and Ride package, and four-wheel drum brakes.

The cabin features Pontiac-branded front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in blue vinyl with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Equipment includes air conditioning, front lap belts, a push-button AM radio, a defroster, two-speed windshield wipers, woodgrain trim, and a passenger-side grab handle, the latter of which exhibits a split.

Optional rally instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, water temperature, fuel level, and voltage. The five-digit odometer displays 90k miles.

The 389ci V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor as well as a transistorized ignition and a chrome-finished air cleaner and valve covers. An oil change and coolant flush were performed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed manual transmission and a 3.08:1 Safe-T-Track differential.
